Sample Tasks for Y6 to Support Home Learning (March 2020)
In this section we have included a set of resources that
have been used successfully to support home learning during half term and
Easter holidays as revision materials. The documents focus on some key areas of
the mathematics curriculum which many pupils find challenging. There are also
documents supporting pupils in year 6 to develop their approach to problem
solving r and to make use of diagrams and jottings when solving problems The task examples are based on SATs questions
and include ‘model’ answers for the first problem with some examples of similar
problems for pupils to try.
