Sample Tasks for Y1-5 to Support Home Learning (March 2020)
In this section you will find a small selection of tasks across
Year 1 to Year 5 designed to support pupils working at home. They all attempt
to make the mathematics accessible to a child in a home learning environment
including a ‘model answer’ for the first task with a couple more variations of
a similar problem.
We have also included a useful resource published by the Dfe in 2000 which contains a good variety of ‘classic’ problems that we would now have the expectation that the majority of pupils would be able to solve. These are very useful to use as a basis for similar problems.
