  • A series of mathematics tasks and questions designed to explore pupils' knowledge, conceptual understanding and skills.  Supports teachers in using diagnostic pupil conferencing to inform teaching to address gaps in pupil learning.  Tasks are organised in mathematical domains including place value, number, fractions/decimals/percentages, ratio & proportion, and algebra.  This resource includes:  a guidance document: rationale & pedagogy; diagnostic maths tasks with National Curriculum links and suggestions for next steps in learning and a teacher sheet to record notes for individual pupils.
