A one-hour virtual training webinar on ‘Pathway to Progress’ – A mathematics intervention programme. Available for all year groups (Y1 – Y6).   

This intervention is designed to give pupils the foundations and skills to enable them to make accelerated progress and secure age-related expectations at the end of KS1 and the end of KS2.

Primary Mathematics: New Mathematics Managers 2026-27 - 6 November 2026, 22 January and 5 March 2027

Over three face-to-face half-day sessions this course will explore key issues in leading and managing mathematics teaching and learning in the primary years. Delegates will develop their understanding of their role as mathematics subject leader.

Join us for Primary Mathematics: ‘Developing Problem-Solving’ Across the Primary Curriculum 26-27 – 9 October 2026

This course focuses on equipping primary teachers with strategies to embed problem-solving skills across the maths curriculum. Participants will explore practical approaches to developing pupils’ problem-solving skills, reasoning, resilience, and creativity through rich tasks. The session will cover: 

  • understanding the key principles of problem-solving in mathematics, including routine and non-routine problems
  • designing tasks that promote critical thinking and collaboration
  • linking problem-solving to real-life contexts to enhance engagement
  • assessment strategies to monitor and support problem-solving skills. 

By the end of the course, teachers will have a toolkit of ideas and resources to foster a problem-solving culture in their classrooms, supporting pupils to become confident and independent learners.
