The Remote Learning Curriculum packs are intended to support pupils at home during the first few days of any isolation period and will supplement any English and maths work given by schools. New curriculum packs, for each age range, will be made available on the Remote Education Moodle page at the start of each month. The content will change over the school year to reflect curriculum progression.

It is a creative resource of different activities based on a variety of foundation subjects and linked to the National Curriculum. They will build on existing skills whilst encouraging pupils to demonstrate appropriate independence.

The November packs are based on the following themes:

  • Key Stage 1 – Let’s create - the Zoo: This theme is based on learning all about how to create different objects related to zoos. This project is related, in part, to the design and technology curriculum.
  • Lower Key Stage 2 – Five a Day: This theme is based on how to have a healthy lifestyle and creating balanced diets. The activities are based around, in part, to some of the design and technology curriculum.
  • Upper Key Stage 2 – Be Healthy: This theme is based on how to have a healthy lifestyle, creating balanced diets and exercise. The activities are based around, in part, to some of the design and technology curriculum.
